I have a secret... dulcimer players can play in keys beside 'D'! This class is a deep dive into understanding keys, range, key signatures, transposition, and the Circle of 5ths. Using simple folk songs, you will learn to transpose music into and out of the key of 'D'. Unlock the secret code to play in any key with a diatonic instrument. A prerequisite knowledge of note names in DAD tuning will be helpful. This class is geared toward intermediate-advanced students, but all levels are welcome. Re-tuning and capo required.
