All course materials include tablature numbered diatonically (0, 0+, 1, 1+, etc) and chromatically (0, 1, 2, 3, etc.)** Dive into an in-depth study of fancy "jazz" chords for the Chromatic Mountain Dulcimer. Using Erin Mae's Chromatic Mountain Dulcimer Chord Encyclopedia, plus lots of repertoire, you'll learn how to incorporate more colorful chords into your playing. We’ll look at tunes from a variety of genres to discover how these rich chords can enhance our music. It will be helpful to have a grasp of note names and major chord shapes in DAd tuning before the class begins.
