Service Description

This 6-week intensive course will introduce you to multitude of exercises and practice tools to help you play smoother, cleaner, and faster. We'll look at both right- and left- hand techniques that may be slowing you down and holding you back. Each week, we'll learn a tune in a different style and take a close look at the "problem places" in that piece. Then, you'll be able to apply those same practice techniques to other pieces you are learning. Cultivate Comfort with your instrument to play with more fluidity and emotion. DAd tuning; capo required. **Cultivating Comfort Courses are designed to increase your understanding of your instrument and the language of music, so that you can play mountain dulcimer with ease. They are geared toward advanced beginner to intermediate students, but all levels are welcome.**
