Playing Faster & Cleaner

Service Description

This class is for anyone who feels like they can never play fast enough to keep up at a jam. Each week, we'll study a simple tune that is usually played at 120 bpm or faster. Then, we'll strategize techniques to help you speed up. You'll learn to use a metronome, work out the tricky measures, simplify notey passages, smooth out fingerings, and strum faster. We'll look at both right and left-hand techniques that may be slowing you down and holding you back. DAD tuning; some re-tuning and/or capo may be required. This class is geared toward intermediate players, but all levels are welcome.
