Just The Essentials: Rhythm

Service Description

Essentials Classes start with the bare-bones basics of a new skill and present just the information you need to move forward in your playing. This class is all about that rhythm -- how to read, count, write, and play rhythms. We'll talk about various time signatures, how to use a metronome, and techniques for steady strumming. You'll learn to improvise rhythm/strum variations in common tunes, read rhythms in notation, and recognize rhythms aurally. DAD tuning. This class is geared toward beginner-novice players, or anyone who wants to better understand rhythm.
