Just The Essentials: Jamming

Service Description

Essentials Classes start with the bare-bones basics of a new skill and present just the information you need to move forward in your playing. The jamming class will help you learn to play with other musicians -- without being tied to tablature! We'll explore strategies for remembering tunes, recognizing chord changes, picking out melodies by ear, and improvising within the tune. We'll start in the key of D, then explore playing in other keys too. This class is geared to novice players, or anyone who wants to play well with others.
