Fun Fiddle Tunes

Service Description

Each week, you'll learn a fun, toe-tapping fiddle tune. These tunes are in 4/4 time (traditionally played for barn dances). Learn about the kinds of embellishments fiddlers typically add to tunes, which notes can be left out, and how to play the tunes up to speed. Every tune will include a basic melody, and ideas for embellishments that work well on the mountain dulcimer. DAD tuning; capo and/or re-tuning may be required. This class is geared toward intermediate players, but all levels are welcome.
