Playing by ear is NOT an innate skill for most people -- it is a developed skill. That's good news for all of us -- using a variety of ear-training and practice techniques, you CAN learn to play by ear! In this class, Erin Mae will walk you through the tools she uses to "fake it" -- reading hands, memorizing music theory basics, and internalizing musical patterns. This class is specifically geared toward people who struggle to play by ear, at any playing level (if playing-by-ear is easy for you then this class is NOT for you). DAD tuning; capo may be used
