Converting Standard Notation to Tab

Service Description

Learn the basics of reading standard notation in treble clef, and converting those music notes to mountain dulcimer tablature in DAD tuning. You'll learn to identify intervals using a method based in solfege and shape-note singing. Using this method, you can learn to easily transpose ANY song to the key of D in DAD tuning, no matter what key the notation is written in. No previous experience reading music is necessary. This class is perfect for anyone who wants to play songs they cannot find dulcimer tab for. This class is geared toward intermediate players, but all levels are welcome.
