Service Description

Embellishments like hammer-ons, pull-offs, slides, harmonics, bends, chops, etc. can add so much color to your playing -- but only if you know where to put them. This class will explore the many embellishments that are possible on a mountain dulcimer, and various contexts for applying them to piece of music. Whether you want to paint with all the colors of the rainbow, or create a mono-chromatic composition, this class will help you colour your music. This class is geared toward intermediate + students, but is open to anyone who would like to explore musical embellishments. DAD tuning
